Opera House Recorder Group
Our students have once again been successful in gaining a place in the Festival of Instrumental Music to be held in the main Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House at the Mimosa Concert on Thursday, 26th June, 2014. Students travel from all over NSW to take part in these highly acclaimed performances.
Up to 25 students selected from Years 3 to 6 will comprise the Opera House Recorder Group. They will be playing Descant, Treble and Tenor recorders for this concert.
The Opera House Recorder Group gathers before school at 8.15am on Friday mornings in order to learn the music and to rehearse the various parts. All students are required to know their repertoire "by heart"!!
