We all come to Colo Vale

To learn all the things that we need.

Sharing and caring and honesty

Make it a great place to be.

Our school has been here for a hundred years

Its walls have seen many a change

The people, the time and the way we learn

But some things are still just the same.

Our motto is ‘Efforts Rewarded',

We'll get in and give it a go.

We'll always try and never give up

Because there's so much we could know.

We started our life in an old bark hut

At Chalkerville over the way,

A pioneer community, that spirit still lives on today.

All the people around our school

Pitch in and lend us a hand

Children, parents and teachers all

Doing the things that we've planned

Our school has been here for a hundred years

Its walls have seen many a change

And when we look back in the years to come

Fond memories will always remain.
